I earnestly think that the greatest actual representation of the dark side being more convenient but not more powerful comes from the #FantasyFlight Star wars #ttrpg - on the Force Die, more of the sides had Dark Side pips, but most of the Light Side pips had doubles.

One thing I found to be a really nice touch in the #FantasyFlight #StarWars #TTRPG was that the Force Die had an equal number of Light and Dark pips, but the Dark pips were spread across more faces, while the Light pips came in greater quantities. It really gave a mechanical expression to the idea that the Dark Side was quicker and easier, but not more powerful.
