And that's Day 2 of #WBC2025! It started with heat 2 of #StarWarsOuterRim, which i won as Dengar. Then I ran a demo for #StarWarsQueensGambit for a few folks, which was great! Next came the mulligan round of #WarOfTheRing, which i won with an extremely fast ring dunk in just over an hour, even with a break for a fire alarm evacuation! Then I ran the first heat of Queen's Gambit which had a great turnout of 16 players, and I won my match. Last was ##StarWarsRebellion mulligan, which I lost.
Day 1 of #WBC2025 is in the books! I started off the day in the #SanJuan tournament, where I went 3-1 in the Swiss rounds to just inch into the single-elimination bracket. I won my play-in game, then lost to a repeat champion in the round of 16. After a break for food and a dip in the pool, I won my first heat of #StarWarsOuterRim as Bossk. Then I closed the day with the late night dice-fest #LasVegas, where I won the first round then lost in the quarters. And now it's time for bed! #boardgames

Phew! I finally have a moment to breathe after a busy day! I started the day running a demo of Star Wars rebellion, then rushed to a heat of Star Wars outer rim, which I won. Then I had a quick lunch and prepared to run the mulligan round of rebellion, and i won my game. Then my friend Sean and I squeezed a mulligan game of War of the ring into an hour, which he won. I lost in Alhambra but I won a close victory in Star Wars Outer Rim as Enfys Nest! That'll hopefully get me into the semifinals later this week, though turnout was unusually high. Guess we'll see?

Had a disappointing 1-2 finish in the swiss rounds of San Juan, so took a break to grab lunch and swim some laps. Refreshed, I wandered off to open gaming to learn Far Alone, which was super fun!
