Journey to Earthseed: A Tabletop Roleplay Campaign in Octavia E. Butler's Parable Universe
Young Angeleno game masters will lead an interactive role-playing adventure game around the quote, "The destiny of Earthseed is to take root among the stars," from the Parable of the Sower series with the intent "to co-create our understanding of the hope, creativity, and resilience that shaped Octavia's first book." This role-playing game will also tie Butler's work to the climate change we face today. The Octavia Lab is a do-it-yourself maker space located inside the Los Angeles Public Library's historic Central Library.
John HumeI got my hardcover of #DeathmatchIslandRPG this week. I love the theme and now think I understand the mechanics well enough to understand how it can play out and be a lot of fun at the table. It's farther from D&D than anything I've played.

I love Fate, but pretty much all of my gamer friends bounced off it really hard, and I only ever get to play it at conventions. It's been 2 or 3 years since I've played it.

I guess that would be "Monster of the Week 2e revised", and the MotW supplement "Codex of Worlds," both of which arrived in the mail today!

From Jan to Apr, I'm running different #GUMSHOE games. In January, I ran #BubbleGumshoe from #EvilHatProductions (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/m/product/185435&affiliate_id=39508)
I have run NBA and ToC before so I wasn't a stranger to the Gumshoe RPG. I admit, I was intimidated by the relationships aspect that Bubblegumshoe really presses on. Regardless, it went very well.

Haven't reached the rule that says how it works yet but just skimming it I like that a character sheet can have an HQ and turf map so I thought that's for the PC
