"Documerica" ist der Name eines Fotoprogramms der US-Umweltbehörde in den 1970er Jahren. Ziel war es, den dramatischen ökologischen Zustand des Landes fotografisch zu dokumentieren. Zehntausende Bilder entstanden damals, sie gerieten jedoch in Vergessenheit. Nun haben sich einige der am Projekt beteiligten Fotograf*innen erneut mit den Aufnahmen auseinandergesetzt.
