Man, the #Debian #Unstable wasn't kidding about being unstable lol. #Distrohopped again to #SpiralLinux, which is maybe my favorite so far! But it seems I'm locked into either running #Sid, or installing the proprietary #Nvidia drivers. Something about the mix is causing a black screen on boot. After a break I'll muck around in #grub and turn off the quiet splash and see if I can tell more.

Updated status on the great #Linux install: After battling with some video glitches, I #distrohopped from #Kubuntu to #KDENeon to #LinuxMint. Still can't run #Overwatch on this machine, but there could just be too many variables. #Motherboard? #CPU? #GPU? #Drivers? Could be any of them, or a combination.

I'm currently #dualbooting. That will do for now until I can get Overwatch running.

OMG! It's like... surround sound... ?? Whoow... Wtf has #Linux been doing all these years?? :D #DistroHopped to #Ubuntu Mate 22.10. #PipeWire is awsome! No crackling, no losing the headset midflight, no bad audio or blowing my voip buddies ears out when switching profiles/drivers, discovering new capabilities out of headset etc.

Guys, if you run Linux and you use #bluetooth for audio, that pain in your ass, it might very well be fixed by firing PulseAudio and hiring PipeWire instead.

@Nawen

It's wierd, I haven't #distroHopped that many t times. First I used #ubuntu for like a day and then switched to #debian. I then a few months later switched to #arch and now for the past few months have been on #gentoo.
