so many books to read. This comes from the story of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, which I just read for the first time. In the old days, casual brutality was neither glorified nor avoided, apparently. The heroine, a slave, killed 37 men in one sentence. 🤣

I like the atmosphere of this painting. Wealth hidden in a cave should have this feeling, like something isn't right. Holding on to a sword and unhappy 🤣
