Auf Suche nach einem #Explorer-Ersatz für #Windows mit Ziel weniger Shit, #Slop und Bloat und effizienteres Arbeiten, bin ich nach Testen von #Files (träge) und #Explorer++ (unausgereift) bei Directory Opus (directory-opus.de/) gelandet und begeistert. Sauber programmierte Software, flexibel ohne Bloat, tut genau was ich möchte. Es ist leider Closed Source, aber ich ziehe Lizenzkauf in Betracht falls ich nichts Besseres im Open Source Bereich finde. #dopus [N.B.: Linux-Umstieg wegen Arbeit nicht realistisch.]

Out of all the Amiga tools out there, for me, the most useful of them all, is - without a doubt - DirectoryOpus v4.16. I would not survive without it!

Thanks to a magic trick called "buying several identical disks of the same game", I was finally able to acquire an untouched #KryoFlux disk image of "BLOCKOUT" for Amiga. It's an awesome, little Tetris clone in 3D! I'm honestly not sure if anyone still cares for the Amiga, but if you do... have fun!

I'm finding it incredibly ironic that the biggest app/workflow friction point I've found is my alternative file manager/explorer that originated on the Amiga 😂
