Raspberry Pi 4 interrupt handling: gic400.library 1.1

The gic400.library makes the Arm GIC-400 interrupt controller of a Raspberry Pi 4 available under AmigaOS. It is designed to bundle interrupt logic that can then be used by various device drivers, such as genet.device. Changes in version 1.1:

Just updated AmigaOS 3.2 to the latest WHDLoad v20.0 ... and tested it briefly with the all time classic "Beneath a Steel Sky". Looks like everything's still working perfectly! I'm running this on WinUAE 6.0.3. 😃

Latest Amiberry is much faster. I was using Amiberry-Lite on my Raspberry Pi 5 because it was taking Amiberry 2x as long to do anything, mostly 1 minute to load completely vs 30 seconds for Lite. However the latest update I just grabbed on my DietPi system made it the same speed. So I guess I'm going to try full Amiberry for a bit and see if it's better for my use case. #Amiberry #Amiberry-Lite #Amiga #AmigaOS #WinUAE

Is my PetMate #Amiga #AmigaOS3 #AmigaOS port a reaction App ? Well I would say it's 20% "reaction" which is only a set of extended class to #BOOPSI object model. Let's not forget BOOPSI is here since OS2.0 and " that gadget class you can extend" is something 100% from commodore (like datatypes that are part of the same system.). So when I extend a gadget like the zoomable canvas where you draw or the character chooser, it doesn't include or depend of anything at all from "reaction". Also when Commodore/Amiga put BOOPSI in place, they tried to keep some sort of retro-compatibility with their previous UI API: "GadTools".... -> (continue next post
