IF your employee tells you they were outside while a fire was being put out in their building/house...
DO NOT tell them they should have contacted you, because there is a "business fire" happening that they should be able to handle...
Their freaking phone/computer are INSIDE their house/building - that has a fire that is being put out.
Newly found mail carrier pet peeve: when people decide to -intentionally- jumpscare me at their door when I approach with mail/packages, and it's dark out and their porch hasn't been de-iced or shoveled.
I wouldn't be so salty about it any other time of year but this is a huge slip/fall hazard in inclement weather.
