Upcoming SIP Training Level 1 with Beth Toler, Tere Canzoneri, and Melissa Lemons Starts Online 02/19/26
Beginning 02/19/26, SIP Training Level 1 introduces clinicians to a bio psycho social spiritual understanding of human beings and its relevance for psychotherapy practice. This approach recognizes that clients’ spiritual and religious perspectives often shape their presenting concerns, relational patterns, and sense of meaning. Learning how to engage these dimensions ethically is a critical skill for holistically oriented therapists.

The curriculum addresses the historical relationship between psychotherapy and spiritual traditions while grounding instruction in contemporary research and clinical practice. Participants learn how to recognize spiritual language, identify spiritual resources and struggles, and thoughtfully assess whether spirituality supports or complicates a client’s well being. Emphasis is placed on collaboration, curiosity, and responsiveness rather than directive or prescriptive methods.

Level 1 consists of five sequential courses, each offering three continuing education hours. Through interactive learning formats, clinicians are supported in developing confidence and skill in initiating spiritual conversations, conducting relational spiritual assessment, and integrating spiritually informed interventions when appropriate.

Starting on 02/19/26, SIP Training Level 1 supports therapists who want to integrate spirituality into psychotherapy in ways that are clinically sound, ethically grounded, and respectful of diversity.

Trump's Education Dept. must restore mental health grants, judge rules

A federal judge has ruled that the Trump administration must release millions in grants meant to address the shortage of mental health workers in schools. Congress funded the grant program after the 2022 school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. The grants aim to help schools hire more counselors, psychologists, and social workers, focusing on rural and underserved areas. The ruling applies only to some grantees in sixteen Democratic-led states that challenged the decision. The Education Department under President Biden initially awarded the grants, prioritizing diversity. The ruling will remain in effect while the case proceeds.

AP News

The not so good news is, I’m still behind on so much. Utilities, past due bills, food, etc. I can’t wait to get out of this financial burden that I’ve been in for so long with a real job, benefits, etc. I can’t wait 💛

My total is over $650 with everything.
If anyone is able to boost, it would be soooo appreciated! Thank you
