C’était il y 75 ans, mais la question demeure : pourquoi autant d’indifférence face la Shoah ? Comment a-t-elle pu se produire et se poursuivre sans que personne ne réagisse officiellement ? Avec Amen sorti en 2002, Costa-Gavras aborde la problématique sous un angle qui dérange : c’est le silence crispé du Vatican et du Pape qu’il autopsie image après image. Sans concession, comme son habitude.
