It's been 12 or so years since I've seriously played #GuildWars2 -- wow, the game is even more fun than I remember! Our gaming group started with the original #Guildwars after spending a lot of time playing Baldur's Gate online. Getting back into #GW2 is so comfortable. No pressure, #SlowGaming (if you want). And it's free to play the original story (lots of content there for free).

We've got a lot of story to catch up on -- looking forward to it.

I knew that there was #HJKL navigation and #WASD navigation, and some of the full-screen utilities in the #nosh toolset support both.

I read that there's also QAOP, which alas contradicts the conventional use of 'q' that those utilities already have, and ESDF which alas overlaps WASD.

One cannot be all things to all people, and it seems excessive to make this configurable somehow when they're only limited-use bonuses over just using the normal arrow keys.

Somehow missed the existence of Legend of Khiimori until yesterday.

Now, I’m not going to play the demo, but certainly wishlisting it ready for the early access in March. What can I say? I like delivery games. 😇

Elite Dangerous (space truckers represent!), Snowrunner, Euro Truck Sim, etc. For some reason, those games are relaxing for me.

I avoid demos because of the “repeat the first two hours” issue they often cause once you get your hands on the release version.

This #Dune movie makes me very much wish it was scored with the #dos soundtracks of the Dune games from the #90s instead of this constant grandiose shit. They are the perfect soundtrack for general Duning activities.

The Steam Machine looks interesting.

I can already run games (and many other programs) on Linux Mint, and do almost anything I need, BUT most folk are nervous about leaving the MicroSloth environment.

A “gaming PC” that works like a Console, but still has access to the whole Linux library of software might push the OS into the mainstream. Particularly for students. It becomes a 2-in-1 Work-Relax system.

Transfer your work to it after classes, watch your videos on it, play your games on it, get your mail, social media, etc., without worrying about “learning Linux” in any depth.
