Genies, Djinns, whatever name they are given were the first beings created by magic and given almost unlimited power. Despite being bond to the master of the vessel or new freed genies needing to relearn magic, their magic could become beyond dangerous in the wrong hands or mind. When the humans were given the tools to learn and use magic, "The Guardians" were created as a small but affective team to remove problematic genies. These Guardians are the only ones who know how to craft "Immortal Killers," weapons that can easily block any form of healing and the fastest way to kill a djinn.
When a Genie dies, their body returns to the lifeless clay form that Ancient Genies were once molded into before the hearts were places. Their magic eases and their minds fade from this reality.

October is finally here, now it's time to get a little on the spooky side. This was shown in an old OCtober image, with Claudia having a reflection that showed her body made of clay pottery, as without magic their bodies become clay similar to how they were originally created. I wanted to add more lore while also showcasing one of the more horrifying parts of being a genie. I feel like what makes me the most uncomfortable about this piece is a combination of the fading tail and how good the clay came out here. While I didn't feel comfortable killing any of my genie OCs for this, I still can't help but feel bad for her.
