A ★★ review of Meatballs (1979)

Bill Murray's first starring role, but you could instantly tell that he was gonna be a future star! Bill steals the show & he's pretty much the main reason to watch this movie, without him this movie wouldn't have been that memorable, though it's mostly only remembered today as one of Bill Murray's early movies. And it's also remembered for Family Guy doing a spoof on one of the scenes from the movie.

You ever have one of those days where you try something new in the kitchen, and end up just hitting it OUT OF THE PARK somehow? That was today for me.

I had a ton of lentils in the fridge that needed eating up, so I processed them into veggie "meat" balls, fried them up, and had them with leftover naan and a little plain yogurt. The bowl on the bottom here has a kale/cabbage salad with ginger dressing, cut up halo mandarins, and pecans from my tree outside. It was amazing.
