looopToolsI decided to let a couple of different #llm having “Free range” for updating a library I help maintain. Basically the tasks was to rename functions. My conclusion … don’t use LLMs for that.

#claud again came out as the one closest to what I asked for. But! It did change some uint64_t to uint32_t and then was surprised when the unit test broke 😅
Kianoosh ShakeriIf you use the agentic capabilities of Claud Sonnet4.5 and notice that it's making markdown-formatted documentations for literally everything, let it do its thing. Just instruct it to keep the documents it writes under a specific directory, so that you can keep your codebase from getting cluttered by them. This is a smart way that was designed to let the model search for what it has done previously, and have a better understanding of the code and algorithms in general. It's weird, but it does work.

The Coding BeardHope everyone is having a great Saturday. My plan (other than working out) - is to spend some time playing with Sonnet's 1M context window today. I've spent lots of time working to keep my AI scripts and software under the limit which although good for efficiency did sometimes limit quality. Curious to see how this will change things.
