Ret Army Maj Gen Randy Manner, who was second-in-command at the #NationalGuard 2011–2012, has worked in recent years to train hundreds of #interfaith #military #chaplains. Manner said he has talked with “dozens & dozens” of active-duty chaplains in recent weeks who say those who don’t identify with #Hegseth “are being marginalized.”

The proposed reform of the #ChaplainCorps didn't go well. There's been a trend in the past few decades where #Christians are schisming between the alt-right political types and the more traditional types. ( #SouthPark is doing an arc right now about it.) The #USSecretaryOfDefense tried to use a purge of "new age" elements from #Christianity as cover for a political crackdown. Seeing a military news blog cover the utter refusal of the #USMilitary to become alt-right is an interesting read.
