Meet a middle schooler yesterday who uses his 3D printer to make custom parts for his dirt bike and for sale. He noticed I was carrying around a 3D test print and asked me about it. This led to him explaining his work to me and giving me some tips. What a legend!
Now, where does he go in the traditional pathway at school? Even a traditional #CTE pathway seems a bit rigid for his skillset, so I wonder where he ends up. Maybe school isn’t designed specifically to address issues like this, but couldn’t we try to? #TechEducation
I should mention that I was at the local middle school at the time because I coach robotics there. Never can be too careful in your wording these days. That said, it is a much nicer building than I am usually in.
