I haven't looked at or added to my Amazon wish lists for a few years.

Today a conversation about bug out bags and bush crafting came up and I remembered this list I made. A friend was asking about how to get started. I started from scratch and tried to get a full kit as if you had no other gear.

Still looks like a pretty solid list. Any suggestions that I might have missed?

There's de-facto (not really official? 😀 ) fire pit with "bench" in our city forest-park.

It's "bench" was way to low to sit on conveniently...

Went into the wood to try out my new UCO Flatpack grill (medium size).

Bought it specially for winter time, as it should provide (and does) more heat compared to small gassifier stoves...

I guess I still need more experience to select proper firewood, but still did not gave up, and got what I wanted (coffee and steak, of course).

Bushcraft Spain got their workshop destroyed by recent flash flood in #Spain .

They are asking for donations to help them rebuild.

I personally bought oilskin mat from them (to put near hammock to keep feet dry, to kneel on, to gather wood near gasifier stove, etc). Pretty good workmanship, it would be sad to lose this kind of "oldtimer" gear vendor...
