#Iwatched Brats (2024) a documentary by #AndrewMcCarthy in which he interviews other members of the #bratpack about the impact this label had on their careers and lives. It originally came from a scathing magazine article about these young actors, who didn't have much in common until then. This is all wholly uninteresting if you don't know who the bratpack was. But if you were young in the 80s, you probably want to see this.

Anybody out there love a particular movie that you KNOW is terrible? That time has proven over and over again to BE terrible, and you just don’t care?
St. Elmo’s is THAT movie for me.
It’s godawful.
ALL of the characters in it are terrible people, and they do terrible things to other people, all the while being completely melodramatic and self-centred about it.
And yet somehow, every time it’s on, I’m gonna watch it.
Yes, I own the soundtrack. Because it’s terribly awesome.
Yes, I own the DVD.
And yes, somewhere in one of my foot lockers, I have an autographed picture of Judd Nelson.
I love this soundtrack.
I always will.
Because it’s a constant reminder of how awful/great this movie is, and that it only could have come from the #80s .
