Stefan IhringerI saw the final episodes of "The Boroughs" and none of the earlier ones. It really vindicates all the criticism of modern Netflix productions: you can just start watching at any point because the plot is explained constantly. The series is ticking all the boxes of what viewers liked previously: a bit of an 80s vibe but set in modern times so you can do sci-fi elements as well, deus-ex-machina ET-style healing powers, the 100th iteration of spider monsters ... big yawn.

If pushed I would be willing to campaign in a local referendum for an increase of more than 5% in council tax if the alternative were major cuts in services. I might not like doing so but would be inclined to prefer the unpalatable to the disastrous!
