@nullenvk @silhouette consider some hyper-aggressive setting in like #pfSense and adding multiple blocklists just to nope attackers.

#BonusPoints if you #Fail2Ban attempted conmection IPs if not entire ASNs.

Tho if you force #SSH into pubkey-only auth and/or only allow access behind a #VPN that is also pubkey-auth'd then there isn't any attack surface beyond #DDoS'ing your CPE/Router/WAN IP/Upstream provider and that is not only costly as an attack but will result in a safe fail state where noone can gain access...
