The two tomato varieties I have chose are an heirloom called #Tomato #BigRainbow and a "new" variety called #PurplePeruvian which is supposedly some sort of new to cultivation, in the UK at least, "wild" tomato species.

So far I am impressed with neither, although the Peruvian ones are farther along than the Big Rainbows.

The Big Rainbow Project was unveiled by Tinder in 2022. Over 16,000 votes were cast to decide the location of the Big Rainbow for the next 3yrs. #Daylesford was the clear winner. Daylesford is known as the rainbow capital of regional Victoria and has been an integral part of the region's LGBTQIA+ history for over fifty years. #BigRainbow

If you are doing the #BeefsteakTomatoChallenge on #BeechgroveGarden, then I recommend a variety called #BigRainbow. You fry them in flour mixed with pepper (black and/or thinly sliced chillipeppers).
