Sunday School taught that Mormons and Muslims were absolutely going to Hell and — the carve out was interesting to me even then — Jewish folks were drawn on the dry-erase board off in their own not-Christian island, and I distinctly remember being taught they were iffy, I should give them sideeye, and maybe they were going to Hell, too. But definitely condemation-lite for the Jews, whereas the Hindus and Sikhs were irrevocably damned to firey torment.
