#ForestFriday and I have an image I've never shared on social media before.

The scene was taken while exploring a riverside park full of these ancient cottonwoods in the #Alberta #Badlands during a particularly smoky summer. The light cast on the scene had this dirty red colouring... I've corrected it largely.

I’ve mentioned Badlands before, some of you will know it well, it’s my local(ish) record shop in Cheltenham. What I didn’t know is that Badlands released records! I came across one a while ago but haven’t got around to playing it until now. It included the press release - this was a reviewers copy that was only played once. It’s a nice piece of lesser known Britpop that should have done a lot better than it did.

It’s good enough to make me want to collect all
of Badlands releases.
