PlutarchThinking about getting a hard drive dedicated for the purpose of off-site backup, encrypting it, and then opening a safety deposit box at the bank and keeping it there except to update said backup. Thoughts? I'm on NixOS, if that matters.

I'm not specifically looking at this one, precisely, but I'm not willing to fork over 100 bucks just to find that there's no way for me to hook it up. I'd take LTO-5 or above; that's the first generation, to my understanding, that has an actual file system, which would make my life a lot easier.
