Our LOEWE Opta Luna Stereo Type 42070W tube radio is now fully restored! In this second part of the restoration, we carefully waxed the wooden casing and then meticulously polished the wax to achieve a silky smooth finish. The electronics were thoroughly tested and made functional again before we carefully reassembled everything. The result is a true highlight for classic radio enthusiasts – both in function and design.

Unser LOEWE Opta Luna Stereo Type 42070W Röhrenradio ist nun vollständig restauriert! In diesem zweiten Teil der Restaurierung haben wir das Holzgehäuse sorgfältig gewachst und das Wachs anschließend aufwändig poliert, sodass eine seidenmatte Oberfläche entstanden ist. Die Elektronik wurde gründlich geprüft und wieder funktionsfähig gemacht, bevor wir alles behutsam zusammengebaut haben. Das Ergebnis ist ein wahres Highlight für Liebhaber klassischer Radios – sowohl in Funktion als auch im Design.

This is for anyone who is into #Radio #History I’m looking for good archives of radio news from the 1930s particularly from places such as what was then known as Czechoslovakia, Norway, Finland, Poland and anything else.
I’ve got a bit from Germany but what I really want is full length broadcasts, not 20 minute compilations of little tiny clips, I hate that stuff.
I want to be able to download these as well. New
