@ChrisChaffin @jpellis2008 Spectrum does not offer very much #AudioDescribed content. Directv is better about this. I plan to watch the #Macy'sThanksgivingDayParade with #AudioDescription, at 8:30am eastern tomorrow morning. It'll be broadcast on NBC.
Thanksgiving Day Parade. For those in the US, you can watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade on the Peacock app and it will be audio described. The parade is scheduled to start at 8:30 AM eastern time. https://www.silive.com/news/2024/11/2024-macys-thanksgiving-day-parade-heres-how-to-watch-livestream-the-iconic-event.html?outputType=amp #thanksgiving #parade #NBC #Peacock #AudioDescribed #blind #Accessible

Lincoln lawyer. Brand new off the press! The 3rd season of Mickey and the Lincoln Lawyer has just been released on Netflix. And it is audio described. So if you are a fan, I would recommend checking it out... https://www.netflix.com/us/title/81303831?s=i&trkid=258593161&vlang=en #Netflix #LincolnLawyer #Show #released #AudioDescribed #blind #Accessible

Hotshot LA defense attorney Mickey Haller will do whatever it takes to win as he navigates the criminal justice system from his trademark Lincoln.

I am so excited. The #ParalympicsAreHere.AndTheyAre #AudioDescribed.

Okay! Seriously going to have a bitch fit for a second.

#AudioDescribed #AudioDescription content is amazing. Even though I still have some sight, I honestly love it as I'm able to catch the small details I sometimes miss.

That said...

I have a small bone to pick with uploaders of ADC on public and private servers. I really appreciate that you all do what you do, but please, for the love of all things right and just in the world, properly lable episodes and movies rather than something like, "S1E1."

When you keep a massive library of content and try to access it from something other than your typical explorer like filesystem, things show up looking like "unknown artist," or "various artists" and not at all helpful.

I would personally prefer [series name] [season number] [Episode number] [episode title], but that's because I'm partial to that naming convention because it works with my indexing tools, but that's just me.

But just saying "s1E1" when there's about a thousand other files throughout your library listed as "S1E1" is really really effing not useable or helpful.

Metadata tagging at least the series name and seson number would be a nice thing as well. There's plenty of tools you can use for these tasks, including but not limeted to MP3Tag and File Bot.

Okay, rant over. Have a hug or three and a cup of tea from me to you to ease the burn of my annoyance.
