Okay! Seriously going to have a bitch fit for a second.

#AudioDescribed #AudioDescription content is amazing. Even though I still have some sight, I honestly love it as I'm able to catch the small details I sometimes miss.

That said...

I have a small bone to pick with uploaders of ADC on public and private servers. I really appreciate that you all do what you do, but please, for the love of all things right and just in the world, properly lable episodes and movies rather than something like, "S1E1."

When you keep a massive library of content and try to access it from something other than your typical explorer like filesystem, things show up looking like "unknown artist," or "various artists" and not at all helpful.

I would personally prefer [series name] [season number] [Episode number] [episode title], but that's because I'm partial to that naming convention because it works with my indexing tools, but that's just me.

But just saying "s1E1" when there's about a thousand other files throughout your library listed as "S1E1" is really really effing not useable or helpful.

Metadata tagging at least the series name and seson number would be a nice thing as well. There's plenty of tools you can use for these tasks, including but not limeted to MP3Tag and File Bot.

Okay, rant over. Have a hug or three and a cup of tea from me to you to ease the burn of my annoyance.

Oh, and as I said, I really do appreciate what you all do, don't get me wrong.

I don't mean to sound entitled AF, but just saying from the perspective of a media archivist, it's really, really annoying to have to go back and relable thousands of movies and TV shows later on down the road when this could have been done post recording and predistribution.

@LavenderPawprints hey, hows things? everything still ok?
@LavenderPawprints same with music. I cannot stand 01track1.mp3, and none of it has metadata, of any kind. YOu throw a bunch of music in a shuffle, with no metadata, you will have no idea what it is, unless you know everything you have. Easy with a small music collection, terrible with a rather expansive one.
@dodecahedron @LavenderPawprints Guess I have 185 files to rename then.
@TheCube @LavenderPawprints yours are at least named something sensible lol. are you refering to the night screen stuff?
@dodecahedron @LavenderPawprints The collection of beats I have for my station.
@TheCube @dodecahedron If it's like, named right? I don't mind that so much because I can tell from the title. But when you open a folder within a collection of other folders and see S1E1 as though you were looking in any other folder and yeah it's gonna get confusing.
@LavenderPawprints @dodecahedron S1E1: season 1 episode 1. S5E3: season 5 episode 3.
@TheCube @LavenderPawprints she knows that, she's saying... if you have 50 folders, in shuffle, all named that way, and no metadata in the file, to denote what season and epesode from what show it is... it's confusing lol. so even if in the metadata you have. Seedyfusion S1E1. at least you'll know it's an epesode of seedyfusion
