I have a question for the ham radio folks here. Does anyone have any comments or opinions about the Alinco DR-06TA? It's a 50 watt monoband 6 meter FM transceiver. I have no experience with this radio at all but I'm kind of interested in it.

Out of curiosity, this morning I hooked up my #Alinco #DJ-G7 handheld to the frequency counter. Transmitting 0.3W through a 30dB attenuator on 1294.5MHz showed that the handheld was off by only 380Hz. Nice! The manual says 2.5ppm error which translates to 3.2kHz. This is fine for FM, but it is nice to see that it outperforms the manual specs. #HamRadio

Nun nach gefühlt 20 Jahre doch mal den Lüfter umgebaut. Manchmal wird das Gehäuse doch etwas warm bei FT8 Betrieb.

@xssfox we use #Alinco DR-135T for #APRS at 1500baud it just depend on how you wire the plug, not the same pattern for 1500 or 4800.

@xssfox can't confirm it is 6pins right now, but #Yaesu have mini-din dataport. Many #Alinco have DB9...
