GeologistsCatToday: during #hedgewatch in the #Alps near the #Aletsch #glacier we found these glacial #striations. The scratches are probably from the #LittleIceAge .The glacier was much thicker. They are cut in by #rocks at the bottom of the glacier.

Michal Bryxí🏃♂️ Aletsch Halb - An extremely runnable trail ⛰️ half marathon with views on the remainders of the longest glacier in Alps. Tons of gorgeous views. Amazing spectators. Really happy with my performance. Not so much with the incredible amount of people and queuing. But overall 10/10 worth it, would recommend.
