Consider a parallel distributed network of processors weighted by adaptive heuristics, give it a name such as Watson even though it cannot marry Claude. Then consider a jelly fish that reproduces asexually. Suppose it is immortal by reflexive replication of abstract equivalences ground on set theoretical mathematics, it is still captive to the limits of its resources given what it can process. As an idea, it is not even immortal. No matter Gödel’s incompleteness results, models are captive to the adaptive heuristics of the processes’ manifold and not otherwise. That which constitutes the manifold of the dialectic principle (The Republic) is the foundation of its categories. @benlockwood To become skilled it is necessity to know what it means to be unskilled, else The unskilled cannot learn from the perception of being skilled. Ai is just the mimicry of that knowledge. It is the skilled coder captive to projecting the abstract classifications and reductionist divisions of autonomous control to seed automated information bias. Ai, need not be the dogma of a new metaphysical theology such as transhumanism! It could be the basis for the heuristic algorithms of the people’s resistance: #HAPR #AiPhilosophy

Toward Hybrid Architectures: Functional AI and the Limits of Silicon Substrates: An ontological and dynamical framework for advanced artificial cognition

This research position paper develops an ontological and dynamical framework for understanding the limits of silicon‑based artificial intelligence and the material conditions required for genuine emergent cognition. Contemporary AI systems exhibit remarkable functional capabilities, yet their digital substrates lack the continuous, energetically grounded, and self‑organizing dynamics necessary for stabilizing inner states, multiscale feedback, and coherent internal trajectories.
