They date from the so-called #OldKingdom (2700-2200 BC) and, according to current research, were located directly on a branch of the #Nile that no longer exists: the #pyramidsofGiza. The authors E. Ghoneim et al. (2024) called it "#Ahramat", and it led along all pyramids down to the #LishtPyramids. My blog article on "X" (former Twitter) specifically also talks about one of my visits in Giza.
