After former Sex Pistol Glen Matlock was kicked out of the band (for reportedly saying he liked The Beatles), he went on to form RICH KIDS with future Visage and Ultravox member Midge Ure.

They didn’t last long.
One album.

That album had THIS song on it, a high octane and catchy burner.
The b-side, “Empty Words” (not on the album), is also catchy in its own right, but the A-side is a LOT of fun, and makes this single worth having.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a copy of their lone album, Ghosts Of Princes In Towers. Would like to hear it at some point.

They'd met & become friends through going to a weekly punk disco at the Silver Thread Hotel in Paisley. Punk events were banned in Glasgow so there was a weekly coach trip to Paisley!
