Lviv Town Hall was built between 1827and1835.The authors of the project are the architects Joseph Markle, Franz Thrasher, Alois Vondrachka, who created the project in the style of Viennese classicism.Today,the town hall in Lviv is the tallest in Ukraine and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.An observation deck has been set up on the tower of the town hall,from where you can see the panorama of the city.Foto: https://lvivski.in.ua/

The Lviv Town Hall was first mentioned in acts of1381.It is not known when it was built.In the year of the first mention, the tower itself burned down.But it was rebuilt.In1404,there was a clock here,which was replaced by a mechanical one100years later.There were 8clocks throughout history:three of them burned in fires,another one broke when the town hall collapsed.Today there is a clock from Vienna, made by the Wilhelm Stiele factory.Source: https://hotel-edem.lviv.ua

An interesting fact is that during the laying of the first stone in 1903, a paper capsule was placed in the foundation with information about the city's infrastructure, namely information about which part of it is built up, the number of buildings, what the residents of Mukachevo do, as well as the number of local residents.

Bolekhiv town hall. Erected in 1863, it stood on the site of an old building dating back to the 17th century. It is a small one-story building in the style of classicism, where a tower with a pointed roof, decorated with shaped turrets with spiers, rises above the central entrance. After restoration in 2001, new Lviv chimes were installed in the tower.

The town of Bolekhiv became the hero of the American Daniel Mendelson's book "The Lost: The Search for Six of Six Million", dedicated to the life of the town's Jewish community. The community was numerous: as in most other cities of Prykarpattia or Galicia, Jews made up about half of the local residents. Only 48 of the 3,000 Jews of Bolekhov survived the Second World War.

Ратуша, Болехів - Болехів - Відпочинок в Карпатах

Болехівська ратуша - адміністративна споруда, приміщення магістрату міста Болехова, що в Івано-Франківській області.Ратуша споруджена 1863 року, хоча закладена була ще в XVIII ст. Болехів отримав магдебурзьке право 1603 року, отже потребував приміщення для міського магістрату. Як виглядала давніша ратуша — невідомо.
