Ostroh Castle rises in a picturesque place - on a 20-meter hill, next to which the Viliya River flows. In ancient times, the fortress was surrounded by a deep moat filled with water. Starosilsky castle.
A defensive gallery for the castle garrison ran along the perimeter of the walls. A chapel, a palace and farm buildings were located in the castle yard. Starosilsky Castle had tall towers, 14-16 meters high. Walls 2 meters wide and 8 meters high. Swamps surrounded the outpost from all sides. there was a dam nearby. A drawbridge led across the moat to the castle from the south side, and in the 18th century. built a new entrance gate in the western wall. It did not survive. Svirka Fortes
Unfortunately, the estate could not be saved during the Second World War. All property was looted by looters, and due to the partition of Poland, the castle was left without a single owner. The estate passed into collective ownership and became a school for future tractor drivers. Later, the estate became the House of Creativity of the Union of Architects.
