Ok, I see that there are some settings in #Android 16 QPR1+ / #LineageOS 23.2 in regards to connected monitors under Settings -> Connected Devices -> External Displays.
But still, I can't find any option in there to enable Desktop Mode
Also, is there a consensus already about how this phenomenon is to be called?
Years ago it was referred to as "Mobile Convergence", but that means something else. Is there any more popular term for using-phone-as-a-pc than "desktop mode"?

How do you actually now get the desktop mode over USB-C dock?
The "Mirror display" now actually does what it says, shows a copy of phone screen, probably because "Force desktop mode" is no longer present in Developer Options.
Any other #android enthusiasts looked into this? Any advice?

This, but just as an inexpensive external monitor instead of a whole #android tablet.
Take expensive stuff out, leave just whatever is needed to make the screen work.

Just some basic game mechanics for start. Nothing too big. Something small to get the ball rolling.
If I find enough spare time, I will start working on it.
