I recommend the images of @chrisstein if you're at all interested in the beautiful grit of 1970s #NewYorkCity. The images are as delightful as they are surprising.
One of the images is an intimate portrait of his friend underground.
I don't have a link but I commented so it's in my feed.
This man (edit: my photo) was salvaging a cigarette he found. He may be standing on the subway grate to be out of the flow of pedestrian traffic.

I love this pic I took from the summit of Mt. Sentinel.

I swear you can just about see the curvature of the Earth from up there. I guess that’s why we call it the Big Sky Country.
