Using both the hashtag and raw search on the words #fiddle , #mandolin, and #banjo and following folks who actually have posts talking about #music. No "mandolin slicers" or people just fiddling around.

Less interested in bluegrass and classical violin, more interested in "#OldTimeMusic" dance tunes, blues, jazz and #folksongs ... while trying to make the transition from playing such things on the guitar or mandolin to the fiddle, at a rather advanced age for such adventures.

Hey Mastodon! I need your help.

This is my favorite teapot. As you can see there is a problem with the handle. The straw ring on the right is frayed and near breaking. Where do I get a new one and how do I go about replacing it?

Please boost so I can find a solution!

Y’know, #ThePrincessBride could be in the same world as #NealStephenson’s #TheBaroqueCycle.

Maybe Miracle Max is reluctant to help raise Westley because he doesn’t want to reveal to a couple of rough-looking mercenaries that he’s got a cache of Solomonic Gold.

Just discovered #Mosstodon. Overjoyed.

For thousands of years, fermenting beer was considered a household task for #women.

By the Middle Ages, some sold beer at English markets. Female brewers wore tall, pointy hats to be easily spotted. They stood by cauldrons & often had cats to keep mice away.

Sound familiar? It should.

You see, when male brewers felt threatened, they accused the women of witchcraft. These rumors may have led to some witch iconography we still recognize today.

Today, beer is marketed to men and the industry is run by men. It wasn’t always that way.
