Does anyone else have dreams that end up incorporating some stimulus in the waking world?

Last night, the sound of my husband adjusting his CPAP machine turned into a roomful of cats, ours and others, bringing me half-dead rodents.

So yeah, that’s how I’m doing today. 🤦🏻😼😱

I don't know who needs to hear this but: when someone you care about is having a rough time - going through a divorce, recovering from a medical problem, etc. - it's important to validate the difficult feelings.

"You've got this," has its place.

So does, "this suuuuuucks."

Relentless positivity might keep you comfortable, but it can also make the other person feel really alone. Never forget to acknowledge that their difficult feelings are welcome with you.

Just finished Prince Harry’s memoir, “Spare.”

Having spent much of my life twisting and flailing, trying to make sense of and escape from my own web of toxic family dynamics, I found myself identifying with him.

In publishing his memoir, he has taken back his power and spoken his truth. The book is gripping and moving, a must-read, even for those who don’t normally pay much attention to the royal family.

Of this I am certain: Princess Diana would be immensely proud.

Just finished part one of “Spare” and I really want to give Prince Harry a hug.

Imperfect and aware of it. Wounded and carrying it as best he can. He knows his privilege and he cares about regular people and I just wish him and his family all the very, very best.

Seriously worth listening to the audiobook if you can.
