@lutoma @ejpcollins Yes, there does seem to be a more respectful way to do it. I remember the Mastodon app being pretty decent, although I did switch to Tusky.

In any case, the official app was only released this year.

@asadasad I very much understand the benefits of postal voting – in fact I use it myself!

There's a really hard problem of family voting that is enabled by postal voting though. I've considered this problem for a while, and to me a system closer to the Finnish system seems ideal.

They have the ability to vote early. For those who can't (e.g. some disabled people), a member of the election team will attend at home with another witness to allow them to vote in secret.
