Remember when RFK Jr said he wanted to make lists of autistic people?

Disabled advocates warned that was just the beginning. That the violation of medical privacy would be used for nefarious purposes.

Today the regime announced it’s giving all personally identifiable information of Medicaid enrolees to ICE.

That’s right, ICE bullies will now have access to almost 80 million people’s personal info. This is an atrocious violation of privacy that will no doubt be used to target other groups as well.

It won’t stop with immigrants. It won’t stop with autistic people.

Fascists never stop and we must all fight back.

I have just read the following from a friend in Wales. Sue, a veteran of Greenham Common, is in her late 70s & in poor health; & yet has been subject to arrest & imposition of unreasonable bail conditions, while her partner was subject to a raid on their home by police at 3am.

Her crime? To protest peacefully in defence of the right to protest.

The United Kingdom & its constituent parts have become, under a Labour government, a police state.

We need a complete reset of parliament and government; a reset most unlikely to be granted by those in power. Perhaps we must instigate such a change ourselves...

The two-party system has failed and although they'll no doubt try ('A vote for xyz is a vote for the Tories/Reform'), Labour can no longer rely on people voting for them just to avoid a worse alternative.

Also worth noting that while FPTP is a poor system anyway, it fails when many parties are all gaining a similar proportion of the vote, and can easily deliver some unexpected results.

@blotosmetek @RussCheshire the Tories are finished as is Starmer’s Labour. Starmer is a Tory. The next election, I predict, will be Reform with most seats unable to form a Gov and neither Labour or Tories able to form one either.
