Badenoch finally offers an intelligent political comment by suggesting that Tony Blair should vote for the Tories.

Most of us realised that back in the early 2000s, but better late than never.....

In the US, Meta just launched paid subscriptions. Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus are $3.99 a month. WhatsApp Plus is $2.99. You get story stats, custom reactions and profile tweaks. Cool. But the real tell is the creator tier. Meta One Plus is $7.99 a month. Meta One Premium is $19.99. And a new Advanced creator plan launching is $49.99 a month and includes better feed placement and higher search ranking on Facebook and Instagram. Here in the UK, I'm already looking for alternatives.....
Meta’s ad business is enormous — $201B in 2025 — but the tech giant is burning through cash just as fast, with up to $145B committed to AI infrastructure in 2026 alone. Subscriptions are a bet on diversification, arriving in the same month Meta cut 8K jobs to offset its AI spending.
Also a data centre is being proposed and thousands and thousands more houses in the local plans.
None of this works with Kent's lack of water.

"US law enforcement warns of 'anti-tech extremism' as AI hatred grows"

So I am critical of a lot of tech and of capitalism which makes me an extremist in the US now. Cool and very normal.

About 18,000 properties in Kent are still facing water supply disruptions due to warm weather, South East Water (SEW) has said.

Areas impacted include the towns of Maidstone, Ashford and Whitstable, as well as several villages in the county.

The water firm has apologised and urged customers to only use water for essential purposes like drinking, washing and cooking.

What do they mean by 'it will use a minimum amount of water'?
Don't they already know that Kent hasn't even got enough water for domestic supply?

Energy-intensive proposals for an AI data centre have been slated as “vague” and lacking detail to back the applicant’s sustainability claims.

There's some dodgy data collection practice built into these AI-driven religious chatbots, but if my IRL conversations with religious people are anything to go by then AI might have finally found it's niche.

Take with a large pinch of salt, *exactly* as you would with any conversation with a flesh and blood religious person.

Anyone fancy guessing the right-wing drug of choice?
