I think he was on to something.

Woah - this link is gold!

If you have access to Libby through your public library, you can type in your local library system and this will tell you all other Libby systems you’re eligible for!

Edit: I thought this app was available in Canada, but it appears that it currently operates only in the US, with plans to expand to Canada and the UK. Apologies!

Plus you generate electricity without using extra land, and nobody cares if the "roof" it's installed on leaks in the rain.

For years I've been hearing that "One day AI will be smarter than humans and we'll all be doomed."

"Nonsense," I said. "AI is very stupid, and not getting noticeably smarter." And I was right.

use the tool for how it works, not how you wish it worked. If the only voting method you have is a hammer, fucking hit the nail.

They'll also need CPU chips they can trust.... and comms equipment. And then there's all the dodgey IOT devices out there. But this is a very good start.
I have said this before and I will say it again, it is time that taxpayers, who are the majority of regular folks in every country, should not pay a single penny to the likes of Microsoft. Taxpayer money should only go to FLOSS. Enough is enough with these big corporations. They have failed to protect user privacy and safety and obsessed with AI like teenagers.

If you are a small business owner, please, please, for the love of whichever deity you care about, don't limit the entirety of your contact options to Facebook and Instagram.

I'm seeing this quite a bit lately, and it's shit.
