Today I learned from one of the fantastic librarians at @hardcover that there is a library of e-books and audiobooks with a selection that fills in the gap left by your local library’s decision to either deprioritize or deprive you of LGBTQ+ books.
If you’ve been frustrated by the selection available at your local library, check out the Queer Liberation Library!
Libby has a "Shelf' where it tracks all your ebook and audiobook loans. I don't know whether, in a corporate setting like yours, others may be able to see your shelf.
To clear your shelf:
1. In the Libby app, go to your Shelf.
2. Select Timeline.
3. On the Actions button, select Clear all Activities.
I adore audiobooks but not Amazon - so here are my two favourite alternatives. Libby holds a special place here, making ebooks and audiobooks widely accessible for a very low budget. I also wanted to highlight @librofm, which allows for the support of individual bookshops (to my Berliners or anyone really, you can support @curiousfoxbooks on Libro FM)
