β€œπŸš¨The lab is growing! If you have interests in the neural circuitry of emotional learning and memory and experience with calcium imaging and/or electrophysiology in behaving rats (or adjacent methods) please reach out to me! Recruiting postdocs, research staff, and students!! πŸš¨β€

Twitter

I just had a good experience with #Movetodon.
https://www.movetodon.org/

It looks up the people you follow on #Twitter & shows you those with #Mastodon accounts. You can tell from the tool whether you already follow them on M. If you don't, you can follow them directly from the tool, without returning to M or importing a CSV file.

Of the 2,559 Twitter accounts I follow, it found 235 on M. I already followed most on M but was glad to catch up with the rest.

I plan to rinse/repeat as M grows.

πŸ”₯ Breathing coordinates cortico-hippocampal dynamics in mice during offline states.

Nature Communications

"These results highlight breathing, a perennial brain rhythm, as an oscillatory scaffold for the functional coordination of the limbic circuit that supports the segregation and integration of information flow across neuronal networks during offline states."

Hi it's me - hoping all of my great tweeps are here somewhere
Applying to grad school? Want to join my lab? I'm accepting students through Psychology (https://as.nyu.edu/psychology/graduate/phd-cognition-perception.html) or Data Science (https://cds.nyu.edu/phd-admissions-req/)! For more info and possible project areas, see below or check out my website πŸ‘‰ http://lindsay-lab.github.io
Ph.D. in Cognition & Perception

Reminder to request your #twitter #archive while you can. Thanks to @PessoaBrain for the tip!

Hmm. I am usually the last to join a new technology/trend (refused cell phones for years, didn't want to upgrade from windows 3.11 to 95 πŸ˜ƒ and kept Keynote9 for way too long). So moving to mastodon so early makes me nervous.

Consider this my #Introduction. I am tentatively here :).

Computational neuroscientist by training (RL FTW), now comp psychiatry & psychotherapy (human behavior & individual diff FTW), and on sabbatical learning & practicing CBT! Lab @ Princeton full of wonderful people.

I won't be at #SFN (I will be at #psychonomics), but pls check out our awesome posters on Sun 11/13 8:00 - 12:00 PM:
