It's interesting to see the discourse on #FinalFantasy XIII changing lately from being ridiculed as a long, boring corridor simulator to something more positive. I personally remember almost nothing about it, either positive or negative. Might be worth giving another go when I have the time.

That said, I also remember the exact same process happening with pretty much every single player #FF game since VIII: divisive at launch, then having a resurgence in popularity 10 or so years later.

Everyone's favourite FF game is the one they played when they were 14.
