I am a mental health professional (LPCC-S) providing tips and tricks for managing mood and building healthy relationships, as well as working to spread awareness of mental health topics as a whole. My partner is a certified personal trainer and nutritionist (when she isn't busy as an EMT captain or doing her regular day job). We work to help people reach their wellness goals, whether that is to eat healthier, get physically stronger, or learn to better cope with stressors.

In anticipation of #mentalhealthawarenessmonth, I’ve been part of a small team at Tava conspiring to make this month special. May is #mentalhealthawarenessmonth. This time last year I was in a tough spot. Shoulder pain, lack of sleep, anxiety, and in my 4 month of fight or flight … yes, every day for 4 straight months. all of my trains were trying to leave the station at the same time. It was miserable. I’m on the stairway to recovery. Ain’t no elevator for this process. Every day I want to make better than the day before. It’s not always better but I keep trying. I’m human. You are, too. Keep the fight, y’all. #ptsd
