I was just thinking how much I'm enjoying Mastodon. I get to hear from and learn about such an interesting and diverse group of people. There are a few people I miss from Twitter, who aren't here (yet), but the good vibes of Mastodon has more than made up for that.

Michael FenichelWell stated. So true. I've long had one foot in several spots (e.g., Google+, diaspora*, Twitter, plus some professional forums). I've seen (and studied + felt) ch-ch-ch-changes in #media, #social too.
After 8 years of wonderful #GooglePlus interactions & activities, it was 'extincted' by Google. "Circles", groups, communities fled for our lives. Some to FB/IG, some to MeWe or diaspora*. Only Twitter had an "everything feed", sort of. Then...
I too find 'here' very pleasant.
