@roze That is a good point. I suspect France has tried to get him to cooperate with offending channels, and he refused. That could make him an accomplice in some way.
@roze Are you saying, allowing those channels to be searchable is the issue? If they have an encrypted group chat, that can't be searched, that is different?
@roze Signal? Whatsapp? Facebook messenger? Unless they aren't encrypted at all.
@lo__ Shady data scraping and sharing is pretty much all of tech. Just because their encryption is in house or that they may not be encrypted isn't a good reason to arrest him.
I think there will be more to this story than just that.
