Pretti spitting on and kicking a fascist car does not have the effect the fascists would have preferred. It makes him a hero. More importantly, his actions from 11 days prior have no relevance to him being killed, and most likely would not be shown to the jury if the ICE officers were brought to trial.

BellingcatAs previously reported we did not find any evidence Pretti’s gun fired. CBS News has also reported that a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) review for Congress of the shooting states that Pretti’s gun wasn’t fired and confirmed two agents fired their guns.
